Makes sense that there would be some nerves involved then. Even if you’re not feeling them consciously. I’m sure there’s a risk to dating someone you’ve built such a good friendship with.
Good on you for going for it!

Nice. I imagine you have been looking forward to dating a lot?
You’ve known each other for 3 years? Wow that’s cool! How long did you know you liked her?
How did you balance your bike on top of the cup so well?
It’s like the US and Russia’s new competition is who can be more authoritarian.
This is then hard on the hetero couples who want a child but can’t make one. But then again I suppose they have the adoption route open to them also.
Can you counter point it rather than just saying ‘not thinking’? From these comments you’re coming off as the not thinking one.
It makes sense that Ukraine would cosy up to USA if USA has something Ukraine needs, no?
It’s not like someone can just pop out 100 children to skew votes
On an individual basis sure, but this still poses two problems:
Hmm, I’d be wary to parents taking advantage of this.
Not about lessers, just others.
You do you is a great mantra, as long as you doing you isn’t negatively affecting others.
Sucks for those who genuinely can’t have it though, and rely on herd immunity
I really like the wonderfully messed up ones.
Or cook a big batch of your own soup at the weekend. Then microwave it for lunch.
I’m confused about the neck situation in this comic.
Seems like a good in-between! I like the idea of co-operative AI (As an assistant)
I didn’t know the most popular model is open source! I’m relatively novice in AI. It’s something I want to put time into but struggle to find time for in between other things in my life right now.
Do you have some good links on how this works from an open license point of view and who owns what? I’m especially interested in who owns a trained model.
I’m interested in how this is going to affect the graphics design industry. They already have to deal with people trying to get them to do stuff for free and it looks like now AI can do just that remarkably well!
Interesting stuff!
… Until the graphics design industry is wiped out and the owners of AI can just charge the same as before but all the money funnels to some rich guy instead of multiple people trying to earn a living.
I guess in that scenario we’ll just all become more socialist, tax the rich more, and fund people trying to live their lives, right? Right?
I started playing chess on lichess, it has tonnes of tutorials and an AI you can set the level of. Really helped scratch my itch.
If Microsoft are worried about Linux now, imagine what they’ll feel once it activates!
Hmm, my thinking was that journeys that use the full range of the electric vehicle are the exception though.
So in your example, it makes sense to have a ICE vehicle as you require the range. Most of us though don’t need that range. Most of us are unlikely to regularly be driving over 200 miles for a commute, and therefore EVs make sense for all of these people.
For your scenario, if you are motivated enough to do this, it might even work out cheaper to buy an EV, and rent an ICE car for your longer trip. But fair enough that this would be much less convenient.
