How can we honestly know yet? How many people just got a free trial and might stop right after or a month or so later after they decide they don’t want to pay.
I hate these head lines. It is too early to know if this has an actual impact of subs. Since some might still have a free trial and might cancel after or after a few months of paying.

I miss building up and tearing down film.
A few reasons I pay is we watch YouTube on your living room TV and while there are ways to block ads it is easier to just not have to worry about. Second we want to support the channels we do watch and if we can do that without ads all the better. Third it comes with YouTube music (while not the best it works fine for us)
I was wondering the same thing because I’ve definitely pushed submit multiple times but in my profile it only shows the comments once.

Because of capitalism, no seriously these decisions are based on money and growth. But both of these things are relatively finite. You can’t keep have exponential growth year after year. Eventually you will plateau but there isnt a mechanism in capitalism to accept that. So companies start forcing monetary gain.
I’m not opposed to people having their own space. You are right and like I said I tried it but that was a long time ago. Itcould have become a much better place.
I’ll pass. While a great idea in principle in practice leads to stalkers and hate disguised as feminist.
