I hope you’re right, but I feel like you’re putting too much faith in the average person.

Something like this happened to my Logitech mouse. I had my settings saved to the onboard memory. Once I deleted and re-saved the profile onboard, it worked again. Maybe worth trying.
IF this is an option for you, it works. Most people don’t have the luxury though.
I’ve heard of people having similar experiences on Mastodon as well. Seems like these smaller communities of early adopters tend to simply be more active and pleasant to interact with.
Then try subscribing to communities that have something of interest to you.
I enjoyed the other two games in that trilogy, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones. Played them endlessly when I was younger.
Also came here to recommend Monster Hunter. If these games grab you, there’s many hours of play in it for you.
Considering your previous experience with Ubuntu, I would recommend Debian. Just make sure to get the right ISO for what you want.
Since you’re complaining about Ubuntu not working with ACPI power states, my next recommendation would be Endeavour to be more up to date and get fixes and stuff sooner. It’s pre-configured Arch.
I somehow read Frankenstein’s Mother the first time.
It’s the app the comment above me was recommending. I just wanted to make that clear and show that it was available outside the app stores as well.
Drip is also available on F-droid.
That sucks. If I block you I expect to cut you off completely. You shouldn’t be able to see me or interact with me. I shouldn’t exist anymore as far as you can tell. Otherwise what’s the point?
No idea how Discord’s blocking works since I’ve luckily never needed it. What makes it so useless?
Agreed. I hate Nintendo and their scummy tactics just like anyone else, but sadly the law is on their side here. Also, they’re known for this. Why would you do this and then double down after they start taking down your content.
I am not on Nintendo’s side, but I have zero sympathy for someone who does this to themselves.
Not sure if you’re on desktop or mobile. On mobile I’m using Mull with uBlock origin in medium mode. I don’t see any videos in the article you linked and I don’t see most of the annoyances many people complain about.
This is a rather strict setup that can break some sites, but over time you can tune it to make most sites work without intervention on future visits.
I’m all for user agent settings, but I don’t want to mess with that for work stuff. So, I just use Chrome or Edge for that one site.
Also available unofficially for Android.
Here’s hoping you’re right.
