Flashback to when my sister in law had an electric car and felt compelled to plug it in at my place everytime she visited.
As Moderator to !BestOf, this is my biggest fear. I’ve been working pretty extensively on this community in my spare time and I’m afraid that if the Moderators of r/BestOf decide to federate, we will lose. I’m not entirely nervous about fragmenting the community so much as just being r/LesserBestOf. By design, this community shouldn’t really be fragmentated unless we decide to become BestOf something specific.
Not sure what I expected, but yep… that’s a toaster.
I’ve been on Reddit for like 12 years and I was never banned by an admin. The fact that you got banned twice is sus.
I did get banned from blackpeopletwitter for being white.
MVP! Thank you @dipbeneaththelasers.
Don’t forget to subscribe to !BestOf@kbin.social.
As the Fediverse expands, the best content may become dispersed. This community will collect the most insightful posts and comments found on the Fediverse! We already have a healthy base and collection of best posts on the Fediverse.
Happy browsing!
@nostalgia_for_infinity Thank you dearly for believing in my vision!
This has a strong roadrunner vibe.
It’s actually hilarious that consoles might become the new must-have gaming equipment because of this.
@Melpomene The fediverse will become quite vast. I find it’s already difficult to see portions from every community. I’d like for it to be a central location where people can share the most insightful posts/comments.
I could understand 250-500. 2,000 is just outrageous to me.
I prefer to keep online forums anonymous. People can’t be nervous to speak their mind.
I’m not exactly sure how I did it, but I think I just ticked off NSFW in my profile.
I’m not entirely sure why Reddit was going to charge outlandish fees for the third-party APIs. Looks like none of the apps are actually going to pay them, so he’s not getting anything out of it. It’s really a combination of pushing them out of the market and then being a smug little bitch that really nailed it in the coffin for a lot of people.
The Last Kingdom.
I can’t quite put my finger on it but the series really keeps me watching.
