I think what’s really going on is “certain people are afraid to openly admit they don’t want their partner physically, and those individuals are likely to come up with an excuse, such as housework.”

The times that I’ve felt like that were the times what I had wasn’t really what I wanted. Accepting the situation felt like I wasn’t being true to myself.

I agree, and I’d like to throw in that Voyager does this cool thing where the comment/message/whatever is still visible but the content of it is behind a “content blocked due to blocked user xyz” button, which can be bypassed, and then any chain coming off of it is still visible, which is much nicer than simply cutting off the conversation there.
