Hi! Yes the software is fully libre FOSS I believe that nonfree (free as in freedom) clients for services like lemmy, mastodon, etc go against the very principle that the services stand for. The source is hosted on gitlab. You can find the link to contribute on the sidebar as well as here. At the moment there are no plans to support Kbin as I want to get lemmy working fully before moving on to other services. Depending on how hard it is to implement it could be on the path forward.

Morpha is cross platform! It’s not the priority however I’m still supporting Android

I actually haven’t found this to be true. And since it uses react native all the ui gets reskinned to be native android. It’s also always up to the user if they want to use it

Yeah of course! When I started it I didn’t know about the other apps (and I’m pretty sure it was started before some of the others). There’s also some design philosophies I don’t agree with some of the other apps. Jerboa and Mlem while both good options are limited to Android and iOS respectively. I didn’t want to be pigeonholed into an ecosystem like that. As for the other open source cross platform react native app Memmy, I didn’t care for the design or the choice of using redux as the state manager. I’m not discounting either of these apps at all. I think all of them have the potential to be great. I also just enjoy the process of getting everything up and running!

I’m working on a iOS client that’s similar to Apollo, with the swiping upvote (my favorite feature lol). So if in a few days you want an alpha invite I can send it to you. It’s already at a point where it’s on par with Mlem but I’d like to spend a few days fine tuning a few things to get it to a place I would daily drive it.
