We re-re-re-re-re-re-re-released Skyrim once again over the last 10 years, it just doesnt have the same traction. It’s just that these audiences are only interested in a game for 6 months max.
That’s not it at all. Literally, my children told me, “I don’t want to go up, I just want to go to the houses with bowls”. But it’s not a lazy thing, it’s a social anxiety thing. We don’t chat with strangers, we don’t make small talk with people we don’t know, we don’t ask people things we can find out without asking people things. We’re socially awkward parents and we have socially awkward children.
Millennials, the ones who would much rather text than call on the phone their dearest friends and closest relatives, are 35-40 years old. They’re the ones with halloweening children and those kids are just ask averse to face to face interactions with neighborhood residents as we are.
Seems excessive. Loads of people have spent many many years in as little as 18 Sq. Ft. Why can’t people just be happy with that?

Or that we should agree on “throur”
And immediate brushing. I worked with a guy who kept a toothbrush at work and he brushed after he had a coffee. Seemed to do the trick!
Meanwhile, in France:
“What’s the roundish thing we eat a lot?”
“Apples?”
“No, the one that grows underground.”
“Dirt apples?”
Drain cleaners work from long exposure on a blockage. You wouldn’t want to handle a chemical that could dissolve all that hair and bio buildup by pouring it through a slow drain because if it splashed on your skin it’d burn through your skin in the same time.
Manual removal is always best. If you want to be proactive, get a long test-tube brush and put it down the drain periodically so you don’t have to disassemble the drain.
It’s disgusting, but it’s satisfying to take it apart and give it the old toothbrush like you suggested from time to time.
That’s only because capitalists are deaf to reason and demonstrable facts.
You’re so close to getting it!
We need to make politicians and corporations fix the issues.
It’s delusional to think people consuming less is going to magically make the free market more responsible. Like Apple sales are going to plummet and they’ll just say, “great, we won’t make as many phones” instead of making worse products that become obsolete even faster to make up the sales. What’s the free market responsible end goal? No one has phones? No one has computers? Because it’s really easy for these companies to brick your devices just with software.
And do we then just have to submit to these corporations? Obviously, no. We need to force them to adhere to rules making our products longer lasting, with better support, without punishing people for not buying new.
“Personal responsibility” is propaganda of the ruling class that refuses to be held accountable. These are global forces creating global crises.
They’re serious and oblivious.
They do it on purpose and it really does make sense. For everyone who supported the game they got the very best value of it. It sucks to pay full price only to have a sale pop up a few weeks or months later and you think “ah, I should have waited!” You buy the game, you support the devs, they keep working on the game, the game gets more, the price goes up for more game.
I wishlisted it when it was under $20. The price went up and up and didn’t go down. When I learned it was intentional and would never be cheaper, I bought it and eventually sunk 300 hours over loads of updates. Now the price tag is higher and I get to think “I’m glad I bought it when I did” and not “I should have waited”
The best time to buy Factorio was 8 years ago. The second best time is now.

Maybe I don’t know enough about computer graphics, but in what world would you have/want to display a group of 33 pixels (one computed, 32 inferred)?!
Are we inferring 5 to the left and right and the row above and below in weird 3 x 11 strips?
I’m just surprised there isn’t a shadow industry of selling blood products fed on people altruistically donating for free (like, as far as I can tell, every country with public healthcare does) with corrupt pseudo-legal marketing ensuring that blood products are not sold for profit (because they sell the bag, not the blood, or they sell the service of delivering blood, or some bullshit like that)
It is with that attitude
“We won it last time! Why change now? Besides, proportion representation only leads to more parties and that’d mean we’d have to… cooperate.”
