Why would they do that when people use this one all the same?

Plenty of other places to upload images. I think catbox.moe is a popular one.
Haha, should have known you can’t post that shit around here.
But I agree, I use Brave and it’s awesome! They even have a private LLM!
The poor UI and lack of polish has been a big problem in design communities for a long time
I dunno what to tell you except that it’s not a problem now.
For all the deserved shit that Windows gets, it “just works” without ever needing to touch config or a terminal.
Most people don’t need to use anything other than a browser, which works fine.
I can’t see Reddit anymore
A nice looking UI with good fonts, and a clean interface.
Pretty much anything beats Windows in that regard.
The ability to run random Windows applications with minimal fuss.
I mean if you REALLY can’t find a FOSS alternative, Bottles has been extremely successful and easy for me…
All without needing to use the terminal
This is the biggest hangup for me. Even if there is a GUI, most instructions will send you into the terminal nonetheless.
Better question is “why not”?
Uhhhh well maybe you’re privvy to some insider information you’d like to share? Because they’ve announced no such intention.
Crop it? Sooo then you’re just back to horizontal but at a significantly degraded resolution…
sigh story is so bloated
tl;dr anyone?
Probably could have chosen different terminology but “grows” doesn’t necessarily mean more people became gay, it could just mean that more people openly identified that way.
Yes but you can literally have “known supported hardware” without literally building a “ground up Linux machine”.
That’s cool but probably unnecessary. The vast majority of hardware works fine.
I definitely opted for an AMD GPU in my new gaming rig specifically to run Linux/ChimeraOS, and hopefully one day SteamOS.
That’s fine but then he comes off as “taking the low road” instead of you.
I could do that any time of the year
I really don’t think you could. This is a time of year that the entire country recognizes as “holiday season”, so there’s a good chance your entire family can take off of work and all be together at that time of year.
When you get around to a new laptop, look out for one that is Linux compatible. Unfortunately many hardware OEMs don’t take the time to provide drivers for Linux, and that causes problems.
I mean yes I agree but it’s a shoddy workaround for a manufactured problem.
If you try googling any of this, you will find a shit ton of christian cope
“Cope” is basically the foundation of most religions.
Mostly because 90% of what’s in The Bible is gobblederemoved, twisted and contorted by a wide variety of opportunistic con men over the course of thousands of years, written in such a vague way as to easily be interpreted to mean whatever they want it to mean.
Similar to the way Trump speaks in vague generalities and word salad, and people hear whatever they want to hear, which of course leads to massive problems when you’re the leader or aspiring leader of the free world.
Today’s internet is very different and has things actually designed for vertical videos so complaining about it makes no sense anymore.
It absolutely makes sense. You can design whatever you want for vertical videos but it makes no difference if the actual content isn’t designed for it.
How many times have you seen videos with multiple people falling out of frame while simultaneously half the frame consists of ground and sky? Then the camera operator viciously whips back and forth to try to capture everything, creating a jarring fuckin video? How many times do you see TikTokkers trying to contort their bodies so you can actually see what’s going on in the image behind them? What difference does the size of resolution of the image make when half of it is consumed by nothing important?
This is what drove me away. There are like 7 people that figured out how to make these pop-ups disappear and Microsoft invested money to “patch” that “error” to ensure they were forced to continue seeing these ads.
