I’ve read that it’s better not to make your bed, so the dampness created at night can evaporate. It would be even better to air out your blankets, but it’s a good excuse to give myself credit for not making the bed.
Or, instead of turning them 90 degrees, only flip under the middle side of the blanket, like so
I would translate it more closely to ‘keine Mühe’/‘keine Ursache’
In that case I still try to avoid “females”, instead I prefer using “ladies” or just “women”, even if there are girls present.
At the same time, though, green space has shown to improve mental health. I would be curious (and very sceptically biased) if algae tanks have the same impact.
Could it be that she was quoting a different edition than the one you accessed?
‘obviously’, I tend to correct wrong answers, instead of feeling inclined to answering straight out haha
I could only explain it as such that we may drink different drinks according to the setting and mood we’re in. I would never drink tequila at a formal work function, where champagne/bubbles is totally acceptable. And I have to be in the mood for hard liquor, so I most oftenly go for wine/beer. So perhaps that determines the way we act, rather than the sort of alcohol.
Not sure if you’re making a clever joke, or if you don’t know that brutalism is defined by using steel and concrete in large blocks. Might be a mega “woosh” on my part though haha
I assume so the liquid moves around and gets cooled evenly. If you didn’t move the drink, the outer layer of liquid would get cold, but the inside would take longer to get cold as well
That’s too bad :/
Sometimes the second sim card slot can be used as an SD card slot, maybe yours can too?
But still, that would be weighed correctly in the question whether OP is glad their dad had them, the question isn’t whether they haven’t had happy memories
I suppose part of it is that a lot of Reddit content was repetitive, and also, because Lemmy is still much smaller, there are less mindless posts and comments, which make me take contributions more serious and cause me to be less frustrated about scrolling over comments which are only empty noise
I’ve been told that it works something like each user is allowed to paint one pixel every two hours or so, so it really is about coordination with other users, and big images require a huge system of users. I’ve never seen it either, even without trying to avoid it
Why the hate on Spotify though? I agree with the general thought, but there are much better examples
I see, thanks!
Could be a dust allergy (or rather the poo of dust mite), you could try changing your sheets more often, and vacuuming more, and especially vacuuming the headboard of your bed, even more imporantly if it’s fabric. I have found my throat closes up if I haven’t vacuumed the headboard in a long time. Once I do, my throat goes right back to normal :) Hope this helps!
