Fair. Mostly I bike, but my town is pretty small. Two friends have an electric smart car, so I’ve heard stories about them. I came across a couple that runs a delivery service (mostly food) using small EVs. I forget what model.

About 6000 species of solitary bees in North America. Providing them habitat by planting the flowering species they visit is a huge first step. Additionally making ‘space’ for their larva is enormously helpful. Many are ground dwelling, so getting rid of ‘landscape cloth’ which blocks them from burrowing is useful.

Check with your local cooperative extension service for information about the bees in your area.

Nice! Come to think of it there are some other transport services around here, as well. I tend to ride my bike most anywhere I want to go, so I don’t think about all the other options.

In my state there are rural transportation buses. It’s not perfect, but they get used a lot.
