It is both sad and frightening at the same time to see that Germany has once again found an appetite for being an active part in a genocide of non-white peoples, by supporting the Zionist regime that perpetrates one of the worst genocides in modern history in Gaza, and that has also unleashed the same genocidal dynamics in the West Bank and Lebanon.

Yet, as Karl Marx once wrote: “History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce.”

And so, we do not witness a German tragedy but one of the worst farces in German history. Pretending to protect Jewish life by declaring a racist ideology to be a guiding principle for Germany that cannot be criticised is an unparalleled farce against the background of Germany’s history.

It comes as no surprise that Germany has taken the racist, genocidal Zionist regime’s side. Yet contrary to the political parties’ talk of consternation over German guilt, this step has little if anything to do with the Nazi genocide of white European Jews.

Rather, it follows from deeply entrenched German arrogance and its mentality of white supremacism that is consistent with the idea that while the “West” epitomises “civilisation”, the “Rest” stands for “barbarism”.

This article takes some truthful statements and turns them into a hateful propaganda shitshow of epic proportions.

Not even the most right wing extremists in Germany have “an appetite for genocide in Gaza”. They have their own political agenda, which is to blame protesting local immigrants for antisemitic actions, in order to further their anti immigrant agenda. Their intentions have absolutely nothing to do with Gaza.

Secondly, the mentioned resolution (as bad as it is particularly because of the unhelpful definition of antisemitism in there) is nothing more than the german guilt reflex, triggered by recent events. It’s not even legally binding.

There is no support for the Gaza genocide among the people at all. Quite the contrary, accepting an obligation to protect Jews (which is good and necessary due to our history) and at the same time watching Israel’s fascist government committing war crimes in Gaza and Lebanon puts most of us in an extremely uncomfortable position.

I too find it appalling how the Israeli government can play Europe like a fiddle, and what happened in Amsterdam recently is a good example of Israeli influenc. But most of what this article states is simply untrue. The authors mental gymnastics kind of want to accomplish something along the lines of “all Germans are Nazis because they killed Jews and they are also Nazis because they support Jews now”. Yeah, fuck you too.

German politicians have no guilt. Using Germany’s previous genocide to censor criticism of their new genocide is as disgusting as it gets.

On 7 November 2024, the German Bundestag passed the resolution “Never again is now: Protecting, preserving and strengthening Jewish life in Germany”, against opposition from academics and civil society, with only ten votes out of 733 against it.

This resolution makes the infamous IHRA definition of what is antisemitism the basis of further German pro-Zionist policies. The German parliament, by adopting the ideologically motivated equation of anti-Zionism with antisemitism, has made itself finally the stooge of a racist, white supremacist ideology.
