Everyone knows declaring victory now means we can say the election was stolen the second a state doesn’t go our way
That game must have one of the lowest labor to profit ratios of any product ever made. The interface maybe took a skilled web developer a few days and it has basically no upkeep after that. And it alone is prolly worth hundreds of millions in NYT games subscriptions. Crazy.
I attached little portable USB SSD drives to them when they need the storage; otherwise I have been using raspikeys. Though I am excited about the new m2 chips on offer nowadays from RPi.
Currently my pis are used as:
I’m addicted to raspberry pis and have six of them for various purposes. Hard to say no to 5 watts when you wanna spin up another thing.
I mean their new chips look like hot garbage so…not sure if they’re gonna have any good outcomes for a while
I blame NVIDIA 4090 gamers myself
This is a necessity to run a decent LLM and still have room for the rest of your programs. Only reason they’re doing it.

I have a whole bunch of ceiling bulbs (19 of them) that I replaced with LEDs. In 3 years, 7 of them have died. That failure rate is comparable to incandescents. Unfortunately the sockets are kind of an odd socket type (BR30) that only a few brands make. I would really like to know which brands I can actually trust but I’m afraid the answer is likely “none of them.”
Yeah the NYT, despite its flaws, isn’t beholden to a single person.
Yeah but that’s not the choice offered to you. And you can only make the choices you are offered.
We’re already there: it’s called NextDoor
