Glad I could help.
Create a template sensor that is the opposite value of the door sensor and include that one in your auto entities instead of the door one.
I did some testing on my phone, Samsung S22, and it looks like 1:1 uses the most of the sensor. Any other aspect ratio was zooming in. This is particularly upsetting to me since I was using the “full” setting which cropped the most but I thought I was using the most of the sensor.
Awesome! Glad I could help.
I don’t fully understand why them having access to your home assistant is necessary. Do you want them to be able to create automations triggered from your data? If so, you could set up automations that send web hook calls to their instance which they can use to trigger automations. To make this easier since you both have UniFi you should be able to join the networks through a VPN. That way you don’t have to worry about the cloud service.
I use the aqara motion sensors and the battery sensors plummet almost immediately to 70% but then stay there for months. I’ve had them for over a year now and they haven’t been a problem.
I think we are going to have to develop moderator bots in an ever escalating war. I am not kidding.
This may be a dumb question, but how did you get the image to appear while still being a link post?
I don’t understand. Is this an experimental feature? How do you do this?
